Eon Dental runs on two branded software platforms — one for managing cases across its dental network, one for treatment planning and clinical requirements — both needing to stay in sync with a live manufacturing operation.

Every case that starts in the treatment-planning platform eventually becomes a physical aligner tray — manufactured, shipped, and tracked. We helped architect that handoff so a treatment plan approved by an orthodontist flows straight into production, instead of getting re-entered by hand at each step.

Configurable, Not Custom-Built Per Partner

Eon Dental serves dental enterprises and distributors around the world — each with its own workflow, but none of them needing a one-off codebase.

We built the platforms to be configurable at the account level instead of forked per client — new partners onboard onto shared infrastructure, and improvements ship to everyone at once instead of being trapped in a single customer’s fork.

From Case Tracking to Full Clinical Simulation

The treatment-planning platform didn’t stay a case-tracking tool — it grew into a full 3D treatment planning system, simulating an entire course of aligner movements before a single tray is manufactured.

Orthodontists using the platform can now model a patient’s full treatment arc — every intermediate stage, not just the start and end position — and see how the teeth move stage by stage before committing to production. That simulation output feeds directly into manufacturing, so the tray Eon Dental ships matches the plan the orthodontist actually approved, stage for stage.
