The Smarter Way to Navigate Higher Education
See how we engineered UniGuideMe, a two-sided marketplace matching students with vetted admissions consultants and tracking every step of the journey.
As international university admissions grew more competitive, students were left navigating the process alone or paying for advisors with no way to verify their track record. UniGuideMe was built to close that gap.
The Spark
A platform that matches students pursuing university abroad with vetted, independent educational consultants — instead of leaving families to find one through word of mouth.

Reframing the Search for Guidance
Instead of a single generic profile form, we built a multi-step intake that captures what a consultant actually needs to match well — academic year, curriculum, target destinations, and the specific kind of support a family wants, down to whether a parent should have observer access.
The Matching Engine
Once onboarded, students land on a dashboard that tracks the entire application journey — not just a to-do list, but staged phases from Intake & Self-Exploration through Decisions & Wrap-Up, each with its own requirements and document uploads.
We designed the dashboard around one question: are you actually on track? A single progress bar and an “On Track” status pull focus, while the journey-phases panel gives a student and their family a real map of what’s ahead instead of a vague sense of where they stand.
Vetted, Not Just Listed
The consultant marketplace is filterable by the details that actually matter to a family — services offered, curricula supported, and destinations — not just a name and a photo.
Every consultant profile goes deeper than a marketplace listing — verified educational background, certifications, and areas of expertise — so a family can evaluate a consultant with the same rigor they’d expect from vetting a school.

From Conversation to Commitment
Matching a family with the right consultant only matters if the engagement itself is easy to start — so we built proposals and payment plans directly into the messaging thread.

A consultant can send a structured proposal — scope, price, and a payment plan tied to real milestones — right inside the conversation a family is already having with them. No separate invoicing tool, no back-and-forth over email to formalize what was already agreed on in chat.
